P120i Card Printer - $2,895
The Most Convenient Way to Card Someone
Check your wallet and you may get some idea of how pervasive custom-printed cards are today. Every business from coffee shops to big box retailers use custom printed PVC cards for discount offers, stored value systems, member identification, and much more. Most card printers within an SMB budget can only print on one side. Zebra’s P120i opens a new reseller opportunity by delivering dual-sided mono (thermal transfer) or full-color printing (dye sublimation) at a sub-$3,000 price point.
The P120i measures only 7.9” x 12.9” x 8.5” and weighs under 10 pounds, making it not only compact for cramped retail environments but also portable enough for events. There are two loading options: a top-feeding 100-card (30 mil) bin or an optional single-feed slot in front, which can prove very handy when combined with the optional magnetic stripe (HiCo and LoCo) encoder. Color cartridges equipped with self-cleaning segments swap out in a matter of seconds.
According to Zebra, the printer is fully compatible with Windows 2000, XP, and Vista when using the USB connection. Vista certification for the forthcoming 10/100 LAN connection (expected in mid-July) is due shortly.
